The Pines

Although there are many pine forests, “The Pines” refers to a large forest in the southeast.  Despite taboos, they are a popular hunting ground. Besides these seasonal hunters, the Pines are essentially uninhabited, which made them a favored hiding place for The Wall Climbers (a now defunct group of revolutionaries-turned-bandits).
