The Swamp

There are many swamps within the Wall, but when someone mentions the Swamp, odds are they mean the southern region sitting between the Salten Sea and the Pines. Although cutting through the area can be treacherous, a seasoned traveler will know which roads to take to save themselves from ending up mired in the muck.

Towns and Notable Locations

Communities in the Swamp are exceptionally isolated, and the young town of Flüghaven is no exception. When its first residents arrived, they took advantage of infrastructure left behind by previous settlement attempts to kickstart Flüghaven’s construction. Even so, this backwater town would not warrant mention if local entrepreneur Lord Godfree (brother of the esteemed Lady Godfree) had not excavated a Sending Stone from nearby pre-Loss ruins. It did not take long before one started to hear talk of the little wetland town as far away as Circ or Mt. Renna: “What will this mean for trade?” “Who’s going to be in charge of the Stone?” “What’s a flüg?”
