Flüg

The flüg is a creature native to the Swamp. Some scholars consider it a myth, pointing out that descriptions are often very vague. For example, witnesses often describe it simply as “a thing of nightmares” and disagree on the simple fact of whether it is bipedal or quadrupedal. There are some details, though, that are fairly consistent: It has a large crest, is roughly the size of a bear, and has a distinctive call.

Flüghaven was named after the creature, but it is unclear whether the name means the town is a haven for flügs or from them.
