hi, i’m ty

I host, produce, edit, and sound design Side Character Quest, but I’ve been involved with dozens of other projects on top of all that. I’ve guested on dozens of podcasts, voice acted for scripted audio dramas and improvised comedies, and even done a bit of volunteer work as a children’s audiobook narrator.

I studied audio tech in college and (very) briefly worked in radio afterwards. Around 2018 I decided to start podcasting to try and brush up on those skills (and learn some new ones). I also wanted to use podcasting to meet new people, spend time with friends, and create something special. Since then, I’ve released over 100 episodes of SCQ, an ambitious improvised fantasy adventure show.
