Indigo Abbey
On paper, Indigo Abbey and Congress Monastery have a lot in common. Both are situated near the Segenam River, such that you have to pass the Abbey to reach the Monastery; both are dedicated to the worship of many different gods; and both were founded by followers of St. Simone.
But while Congress Monastery is run as a collection of disparate parishes, with representatives coming from as far away as Mt. Renna and the Salten Sea, Indigo Abbey is a singular organization, led for literal centuries by just one person: Abbot Faer Landing. In that time, Landing has earned a devoted following, welcoming worshippers, academics, and artisans from all edges of the Wall.
An excerpt from a conversation with Sister Robin, longtime resident of Indigo Abbey:
“Yeah, it’s a good time! Faer trusts us to take care of stuff around the Abbey, but really, there’s not too much that has to get done. Run service, take care of folks, handle whatever weird odd jobs Faer needs doin’. Plus, I make sure Elder Sister takes care of the indigo. Do you know how indigo dye works? Oh, this is so gross, you’ll love this—”
